Groundwork/polework sessions

Equine £30-60

We offer 30 or 60 minute groundwork or pole work sessions. If we have seen the horse before, the exercises that we demonstrate and teach will be of individual benefit to your horse. Otherwise, the sessions are focused around postural training, and general strength and conditioning. We will give you points to work on in between sessions and advise you on how to safely and appropriately increase the intensity of the work.

Telephone consultation

Free

We offer a free telephone consultation for all owners prior to booking an initial appointment. We can discuss your queries, goals and animal, and decide which session is best suited to you, and how physiotherapy could help your animal.

Booking Information

How can I book?

Bookings can be made several different ways. Please use the buttons to make contact or the form at the bottom of the page for any enquiries!

We are fully mobile and cover a wide area surrounding Dorset and Hampshire. Please note that bookings are organised in order to not charge a mileage fee. Horses or small animals seen in groups of three or more at the same address, will receive a group discount. Block bookings of 5 sessions or over are discounted.

For equine visits, please ensure that your horse is in and ready at the appointment start time, that they are clean and dry and there is somewhere dry for the session to take place.

Please note that cancellation fees apply, so let us know as soon as possible of any problems in attending your appointment. We do not take deposits, but do require payment on the day of appointment. We carry a card machine and also accept cash payments.

You will be required to fill out a booking form to secure your appointment. This will help us to determine which type of appointment you need, and whether vet consent is required. If you are booking for a specialised session, you will be required to fill out a separate short form. Please click the buttons below to access each form.

Referrals

We work alongside a lot of brilliant vet practices within the area. For surgical, injury recovery or rehabilitation cases, we require veterinary referral or consent. In these cases, we will usually contact the vet directly to discuss the case, but if you are a vet looking to refer a client for physiotherapy, please complete and return this form.
